Resting Bird is part of Front's Resting Animals collection, featuring decorative ceramic figures of two birds in different sizes. This collection emerged from a research project exploring the emotional connection between humans and figurative objects, where the designers asked people to identify their most meaningful items.

These small ceramic birds add a touch of elegance and cozy accents to any space, whether displayed on a sideboard, shelf, or table.

Sofia Lagerkvist and Anna Lindgren both from Sweden founded the Stockholm-based design studio Front in 2004. Their work constantly questions the design process, whether through their collaborations with animals or their experiments with advanced technology like in the project Sketch Furniture. Besides, they have developed objects for major design brands across the world. Galerie Kreo represented Paris and Friedman Benda in New York.
