Adnet Coffee Table, Circular

Jacques Adnet, 1950

The Adnet Coffee Table Circular was originally designed by French Modernist Jacques Adnet in the 1950s. Adnet was always ahead of contemporary trends and became famous for his avant-garde designs and unusual combination of leather, metal and glass. The iconic Adnet Coffee Table Circular exemplifies everything the French architect and interior designer stands for and perfectly merges his Art Deco style with his strong commitment to functionalist principles.

Designer Profile

Jacques Adnet

In 1950, Jacques Adnet formed a partnership with a famous French fashion house, where he developed a collection of discreet yet voluptuous leather-covered furniture and interior accessories. Known for being an innovative thinker, Adnet was one of the first designers to combine leather with glass. Accordingly, he designed the elegant, distinctive round leather mirror with equestrian inspired detailing - the Adnet Wall Mirror Circular. Besides the remarkable leather and burnished brass details, the mirror in three sizes is also unique as the strap holding the mirror is in direct proportion to the dimension of it.
