David Shrigley (b.1968, UK) works across drawing, painting, sculpture, installation, photography, animation, and print. He publishes books, produces music, occasionally designs tattoos and creates all manner of other paraphernalia. He is a unique artist with a broad reach. Like Andy Warhol or Keith Haring, he is recognised within the art world but his impact extends far beyond and into our wider culture.
