Pendant Light A333 “Turnip“

Alvar Aalto, 1950's

The A333, known as the “Turnip” for its organic shape, combines elegance with simplicity to stunning effect. When in use, light emerges through the circular recesses near the top of the lampshade, serving to emphasise the pendant light’s rounded form. “Turnip” was created for the National Pensions Institute building in Helsinki.
