Depicting a hillside, a single tree against the skyline, and the iconic Zebra print associated with Artek since the 1930s, the poster references Artek’s affinity with nature and natural materials. Kustaa Saksi is a Finnish multidisciplinary visual artist and surface designer based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, specialising in graphic storytelling through patterns, textile art and installation. Ideas of nature seen from the abstracted edge of perception pervade all of Saksi’s work.
