JEAN PROUVÉ :
STRUCTURES OF DESIGN
& EXHIBITION
November 7 — December 31, 2025
November 7 — December 31, 2025
Jean Prouvé was more than a designer; he was a constructeur, an innovator who bridged craftsmanship and industrial production. Guided by his belief that architecture and furniture should reflect structural honesty and human purpose, Prouvé created works that unite engineering precision with poetic form.
This exhibition traces his journey from his early years as a metalsmith in Nancy to his later architectural achievements and lasting influence on modern design. Through original works, archival materials, and Vitra re-editions, visitors can explore how Prouvé’s ideas continue to shape contemporary living and working environments.
At its core, the exhibition highlights the enduring collaboration between Jean Prouvé and Vitra, where his timeless designs such as the Standard Chair, Antony, and Compas Direction are reintroduced for the present day. Each piece embodies simplicity, strength, and purpose, reminding us that true beauty lies in structure itself.
