Pendant Light A330S "Golden Bell"

Alvar Aalto, 1937

Description

Pendant Light A330S features a sculptural design that shines whether on or off. Its perforated rim casts golden reflections, creating a memorable halo effect while minimizing glare.

Crafted from a single piece of brass or steel, this elegant fixture was designed for The Savoy Restaurant in Helsinki in 1937, also showcased in the Finnish Pavilion at the Paris World Expo that same year. The “Golden Bell” reflects Alvar Aalto’s signature streamlined aesthetic, providing warm-toned, diffuse light.
