Founded in 2000 by Aamu Song and Johan Olin, COMPANY is a Finnish-Korean design practice based in Helsinki. The duo works as artists, designers, and producers, while also running Salakauppa, meaning 'secret store' in Finnish. Their notable project, Secrets, involves traveling to remote areas to collaborate with traditional manufacturers and create new designs based on their expertise. COMPANY’s work is part of permanent collections in various institutions, including the Design Museum Finland, EMMA Museum of Modern Art, and Helsinki Art Museum HAM, and has been exhibited internationally, such as at the Storefront for Art and Architecture in New York.
