One of a series created to celebrate Artek’s history, this poster features the iconic Stool 60, the first product to feature Alvar Aalto’s ground-breaking L-leg system. Made of recycled paper, each poster in the Icon Series is silkscreen printed. Designed by Berlin-based graphic design studio Greige, Stool 60 Poster measures 50 by 70 cms.
Hugo Alvar Henrik Aalto was a Finnish architect and designer. His work includes architecture, furniture, textiles and glassware, as well as sculptures and paintings. He never regarded himself as an artist, seeing painting and sculpture as "branches of the tree whose trunk is architecture."
