HAUS® LIVING CONCEPTS SDN BHD ("HAUS®")
Terms and Conditions
  1. HAUS® reserves the right to change prices without prior notice.
     
  2. Payment Terms: Full payment is required and NON-REFUNDABLE. Payment mode could be via cash, credit cards, or cheque. Payment can also be deposited into our bank account as per the following:

  3. Delivery Period: Ranges between 5 to 12 weeks if HAUS® has no existing stock. HAUS® specifically accepts no penalty for late shipment.
     
  4. Delivery Charges: For purchases less than or equal to RM2,000, RM70 will be payable per trip, For purchases above RM2,000, RM70 delivery charge will be waived for 1 trip only.
     
  5. Product Acceptance: Customer agrees that his/her signature or a signature by his/her representative or affiliate to receive the product(s) or on any Delivery Order or Sales Order is presumed to establish customer’s acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Customer agrees to inspect the goods within 7 days of receipt and to promptly report any damages to HAUS®. Customer further agrees to inspect the goods within 7 days of receipt to determine whether any defect exist which would justify Customer not accepting the goods. For any claims for defective goods (where the defect can reasonably be determined by inspection), Customer must notify HAUS® of the defect within 7 days of delivery with complete descriptions of the nature of the defect. Otherwise, Customer will be deemed to have waived any objections based upon such defects and will be deemed to have accepted the goods.
     
  6. Warranty: HAUS® product is warranted against manufacturer’s defects for structure that render it unfit for its reasonably intended use. This Warranty is not extended to fabric cover and foam. If the product is altered, modified or repaired by a party other than HAUS®, then the Warranty shall be null and void. The Warranty is in effect for a period of two (2) years beginning from the date of sale to the original retail purchaser and the rights under this Warranty are limited to the original retail purchaser. Customer (retail purchaser) must retain invoice for the product warranty. HAUS® will, upon notification thereof, take reasonable steps to rectify such defects, at HAUS® sole option, by suitable repair, replacement, or refund.
     
  7. Damaged Products: Should a package be damaged while in transit, Customer should avoid taking receipt of the package and request for the carrier to return the package to HAUS®. If Customer receives a damaged package, Customer should note on the carrier’s Delivery Order the condition of the package. Damaged products must be reported to HAUS® Customer Service Department (03) 7728-0007 immediately upon receipt. Within seven (7) days thereafter, Customer is responsible for providing to HAUS® Customer Service Department all information and documentation, including any available photographs, regarding the damaged goods. Customer’s failure to comply with these requirements shall relieve HAUS® of the obligations to provide Customer with a replacement or refund for the damaged products. In the event a Customer has questions at the time of delivery, the Customer should contact his/her Sales Personnel or a HAUS® Customer Service Representative prior to signing for the shipment(s). HAUS® Personnel will work to resolve any defects by providing replacement parts or instructions as necessary. During a Customer’s contact with Sales Personnel, the Customer should indicate whether he/she would prefer to receive a credit or, upon the return of the damaged or defective product(s) to HAUS®, to have the product(s) replaced and re-shipped at no charge. Any damaged product can be exchanged only for the same item, given its availability. Returns other than those due to manufacturing defects or damage in transit shall be subjected to a fifteen percent (15%) charge of the invoice fee. Original shipping charges will not be refunded on returned items.
     
  8. Disclaimers, Waivers: These Terms and Conditions are subject to modification by HAUS® at any time without prior notice and shall be effective upon HAUS® publication of the revised Terms and Conditions on its Website at www.haus.com.my
     
  9. Force Majeure: HAUS® shall be excused from any delay or failure in performance hereunder, other than the payment of money, caused by any labor dispute, governmental requirement, act of God, inability to secure materials and transportation facilities, and other causes beyond its control. If a delay or failure in performance hereunder due to any such cause shall continue for more than ninety (90) days, either party shall have the right, by giving written notice of termination to the other party, to terminate this Agreement without incurring liability due to such termination.
